Vaso Batagianni opened the ‘’Skorpios Gallery’’ in 1984 ,9 Garibaldi Str. Trikala. She collaborated exclusively with renowned Greek artists of the generation of the 30s( Gikas, Tsarouhis) with Minos Argyrakis as well as 60s, 70s..presenting group and individual exhibitions of C.Karas, D.kokkinidis,D.Mytaras ,S.Sorogas ,K.Tsoklis,O.Zouni,A.Fassianos e.t.c. and also with newer emerging artists. Exhibitions of sculpture, engraving,visual and industrial objects completed the Gallery’s program. In 2000 she inaugurated the new space in Athens ‘’Stigma Art Gallery’’, 22 Ag.Anargiron Str. Psirri. The purpose of this new space is the presentation and promotion of Greek and foreign artists from the wider space of visual expression,focusing on authenticity and quality as a rule. New emerging and established contemporary Greek artists make up the potential of the Gallery. In 2004 it was renamed ‘’Batagianni Gallery’’ remaining at the same space while it has already collaborated with international artists such as Jimmie Durham, Mariella Simoni,Rainer Splitt and more. In December 2010 it moved at 3,Heraklitou Str. Kolonaki, Athens. In 2012 she transferred the gallery and left with the closing of the season in 2013. She remained active by organizing exhibitions in alternative spaces. The gallery has been located at 17 Antinoros Str. Pagrati, Athens, since 2021.
