Andriana Verveti
Born in Volos in 1958.
- 1977-1978 Studied painting at the Rome Academy of Fine Arts.
- 1978-1984 Studied sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts, under Georgios Nikolaidis. 1981-1983 Two-year Applied Plaster Casting and Copper Casting workshop, Athens School of Fine Arts, certificate of attendance 8.5/10. A fellow of the National Scholarships Foundation during the course of her studies.
- 1980 Drawing Commendation, Athens School of Fine Arts, in the first-year final examinations, department of Sculpture.
- 1984 Degree in Sculpture, Distinction 10/10
- 1984-1986 Two-year Applied Ceramics workshop, Athens School of Fine Arts, grade 10/10. 1985-1988 Postgraduate Fellow National Scholarships Foundation, “Sculpture in Public Spaces”.
- 1987-1988 Worked as a sculptor at the Architectural Planning Office of the Municipality of Volos, for the development of a seaside location.
- 1989 Joined the Academic Staff of the Athens School of Fine Arts; taught “Drawing in Sculpture”, Sculpture workshops 1 & 2.
- 2000 Lecturer in Sculpture, Sculpture workshop 1.
- 2005 Took over the two-year compulsory workshop module “Drawing for Sculpture” in the department of Sculpture.
- 2019 Appointed Course Leader for the compulsory first-year workshop module “DESIGNPRINCIPLES OF COMPOSITION”, taught as part of the Athens School of Fine Arts general curriculum.
- 2022 Assistant Professor of Sculpture.
1985-2011 Participated in group exhibitions and workshops.
- 1998 “From information to emotion”, Solo Exhibition, Zoumboulakis Gallery. Presentations of her work in 2004 in Chania, in 2007 and 2009 at “Point of View”, Zoumboulakis Gallery.
- 2023 “The Hole New History of Art’’, Solo Exhibition, Batagianni Gallery
