Born in Athens in 1956. First, he studied Graphic Arts (1971-1974) at the Technological Institute of Athens and then he studied Painting in Athens School of Fine Arts (1976-1983). 1987-1991 he has been working as a teaching assistant in the 5th Painting Workshop of Athens School of Fine Arts. In 1991 he becomes an elected Lecturer in ASFA. In 1995 he is elected as an assistant professor at ASFA. Since 1998 he is responsible for the organization and realization of the MA programme in “Digital Arts” at ASFA. In 2002 he is elected as a professor B΄ at ASFA. From 2003 onwards, he is the Head of the ASFA Postgraduate Studies Programme in “Digital Arts”. In 2006 he was elected as Vice-Rector of ASFA and in 2007 he resigned. In 2009 he was elected as Rector of ASFA. He lives and works in Athens.
